Senior Commencement Ceremony
All RUSD high schools have been working together to plan our virtual commencement ceremonies. Our virtual celebration will be held on Saturday, May 30th, at 6:00 pm. Details on how to access the senior commencement video link will be forthcoming.
In preparation for our virtual commencement, we will be distributing senior caps and gowns on Tuesday, May 5th, from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. We ask that students arrive to pick up their graduation regalia package at the following times:
8:00a – 10:00a - Students who have Mrs. Peterson-Inglis as their counselor (A – Gom)
10:00a – 12:00p - Students who have Mrs. Major as their counselor (Gon – O)
12:00p – 2:00p - Students who have Mrs. Paul as their counselor (P – Z)
For everyone’s safety, when driving onto campus all students and family members must remain in their vehicles. Once you enter the parking lot, we will direct you to our senior regalia pick up stations. It will be great to see you all again, we miss you!!!!
Once you have your regalia package, we will be asking you to go to the website we have established to set up your commencement slide. You will be guided on how to upload a picture, a short video thanking those who helped get where you are today and/or a quick “shout out” with a turning of your tassel, and a short written message. Details of how to do all of this will be coming early next week. All commencement media submissions must be uploaded by Friday, May 8th, at 5:00 pm. Please do not miss this deadline. If you do not submit your media prior to the deadline, we may not be able to include your picture or video in the graduation ceremony.
