Campus Safety Improvements & Temporary Drop-Off FAQ
Dear MLK Community,
As we prepare to welcome students back for the new school year, we are excited to continue important campus improvements that will make Martin Luther King High School even safer and more welcoming.
Over the past two years, we have completed several security enhancements across campus. This summer, we are beginning the final phase of those improvements: creating a controlled front entrance, relocating the Attendance Office, improving accessibility, and redesigning the front entrance area.
While this work is underway, there will be temporary changes to student drop-off, pick-up, and campus entry for Fall 2026.
We encourage you to review the information below and familiarize yourself with the temporary traffic pattern before the first day of school. Thank you for your patience and partnership as we invest in a safer campus for our students and staff.
