"I just started AVID this year and coming from a different state, this is something totally different from what I have done before. It has taught me so much about college and about what the future can have in store for me. I am so glad for this opportunity to grow as a student." - Jacquelyn W.
"AVID has helped me in many ways as a student. The most important way AVID has helped me is by creating a support system. I know that if I need help at any time I can get it. In addition, the tutors are very genuine and don't ever make you feel like you're not smart. They always help to the best of their abilities, because they want to see students succeed." - Nadia C.
"AVID has helped me a lot in school. It has helped me to stay organized and on top of my tasks, introduced the importance of knowing how to prioritize, and it has taught me how to manage my time. Besides education, AVID has made it possible to meet new people and build relationships." - Ka’ui lani P.
